Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial, and do the trial photos carry a watermark?

Yes. Your first two photos are free — no watermark and no card. After that, the free tier gives you one photo a day, so you can keep testing on your own listings. Every paid plan is watermark-free. The trial exists for one reason: to show you the full editorial quality on your own photos before you commit to anything.

How long does it take to enhance one photo?

Around 2–4 minutes per photo. You upload straight from your phone or computer, the engine declutters, relights and re-shoots the image, and the finished file comes back ready to download. It's built to work at the viewing — shoot, enhance and send from your camera roll before you're back at the office. Larger sets take longer overall, but each photo runs at that same pace.

Is the output full resolution — good enough for portals and print brochures?

Yes. Every enhanced photo downloads at full resolution, ready for Idealista, Fotocasa, any portal, and the print brochure, as a JPG or PNG. Paid plans are watermark-free. The file you get back is the real room — same walls, same windows, same view — decluttered, relit and re-shot to a magazine-cover standard, not a lower-resolution preview.

Can it stage a whole listing at once, or only one photo at a time?

Both. Enhance a single photo on its own, or start a brief — a named album for one listing where you batch-upload up to 50 photos at once, add your logo and listing details, then export the finished set as downloadable layouts or a PDF. The brief keeps every photo for one home in one place, portal- and brochure-ready.

Can I stage listing photos I shot on my phone?

Yes — Pocketstager is built phone-first. Upload straight from your camera roll and a casual phone snap comes back looking like a magazine cover — decluttered, relit and re-shot in 2–4 minutes. You can shoot, enhance and send from the viewing, before you're back at the office. No studio camera, no presets and no editing skills needed.

Is it honest to virtually stage a listing photo?

It is, when the edit presents the real space rather than invents a new one. Pocketstager never moves a wall, stretches a room or borrows a view — the room in the after is the room in the before, so anyone who walks in recognises every corner. Because the space stays real, an enhanced photo shows the room at its best without misleading the buyer. Enhanced images are AI-edited presentations of real spaces, so where your portal or MLS requires it, label them accordingly — for example, digitally enhanced.

Is AI virtual staging better than a traditional, hand-edited staging service?

For most listings, yes — on speed and cost. A traditional service has a human editor stage each image and usually charges a per-photo fee; Pocketstager returns an editorial-grade photo in 2–4 minutes on a flat monthly plan, straight from your phone. The discipline is the same either way: nothing added, nothing invented, the real room preserved. If what you want is a person hand-placing digital furniture in an empty room, that is a different product — ours enhances the real space.

Can I put my own agency branding on the finished photos?

Yes. Start a brief — a named album for one listing — add your logo and listing details, then export branded, downloadable layouts and a PDF. On the Studio plan the whole team works under one subscription with your agency branding on the output. The images go out looking like yours, not ours.

What happens to the photos I upload — are they stored or used to train AI?

Your photos are yours, and they are never used to train AI. Uploads are processed through OpenAI's image API under enterprise terms, where OpenAI does not use the content to train its models. Files are stored up to 7 days for free previews and up to 30 days for subscribers so you can re-download, then deleted. You keep all rights to both the photos you upload and the enhanced results.

Can I cancel anytime, and how does the billing work?

Yes — cancel in one click from the customer portal, anytime, and your access runs to the end of the paid period. Plans bill monthly or yearly through Stripe, with two months free on yearly billing. Monthly photo allowances reset each period; there are no silent renewals, and we email a reminder before every yearly renewal.
